Julian has more than 35 years’ experience of heavyweight commercial dispute resolution in Hong Kong, across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. He also has a PRC outbound practice. Sums in dispute in his cases vary from small to in excess of USD 2 billion.
He is particularly well known for arbitration as well as for construction and engineering disputes. He is ranked as one of Hong Kong’s top construction lawyers and top arbitration practitioners.

Paulo sits as an arbitrator in common law and civil law disputes, in Hong Kong and internationally. He has more than 35 years’ experience of commercial dispute resolution as counsel in arbitration and court litigation since 1988, when he joined the Swedish law firm Vinge fresh from law school. He received his first arbitrator appointment early in his career when he was still an associate at the firm.
Paulo’s experience covers a multitude of industry sectors and kinds of contract, as well as investment treaty disputes. Over the years, he has continuously been recognised in international dispute resolution directories.

Susan Munro - Counsel

Susan Munro has extensive experience of various areas of legal practice, including international arbitration, international regulatory compliance, white collar crime and cross-border investigations, and trade and investment matters.
She was previously a Registered Foreign Lawyer for U.S. law firms in Hong Kong & the PRC. She was based in Shanghai (2001 to 2010) & in Beijing ( 2010 to 2020), where she headed up the office of a US law firm.
She has near-native Chinese language capability and has earned undergraduate degrees and diplomas in Chinese language and literature.
In her arbitration practice, she has represented clients in cross-border arbitrations administered by the ICC, the LCIA, the HKIAC and the SIAC involving China, Hong Kong and U.S. matters, and has sat as an arbitrator in bilingual disputes administered under ICC rules.
Susan is also recognised for her substantial experience in cross-border corporate investigations and corruption matters.

Andrew Lynn

Wing So - Counsel
Barrister & Arbitrator
Wing mainly focuses on international commercial arbitration and cross-border litigation, including maritime, aviation, and construction disputes.
His arbitration practice often involves cases seated outside of Hong Kong. He acts as both counsel and arbitrator internationally - typically in cases regarding investments and projects in CIS, SEA, or MENA countries.
Before joining the Bar, Wing had a legal academic career conducting research and teaching around the world including at Oxford, Moscow, Kazan, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He has been appointed as a foreign legal expert by the PRC Ministry of Science & Technology since 2019.
