Resolution Chambers International was founded by Julian Cohen to provide a mix of counsel and arbitrator services in international disputes.
Julian himself is highly regarded both as counsel and arbitrator, in the fields of international construction, engineering and energy disputes, and international commercial arbitration. He is familiar with Common Law, Civil Code and Sharia based jurisdictions and arbitrations.

Julian has more than 30 years’ experience of heavyweight commercial dispute resolution in Hong Kong, across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. He also has a PRC outbound practice. Sums in dispute in his cases vary from small to in excess of USD 2 billion.
He is particularly well known for arbitration as well as for construction and engineering disputes. He is ranked as one of Hong Kong’s top construction lawyers and top arbitration practitioners.

Andrew has a strong practice in commercial and chancery litigation as a dual-qualified English and Hong Kong barrister. He is a native English speaker and fluent in Putonghua, both reading and writing (simplified characters). He is recognised by legal directories as a leading junior at the Hong Kong Bar.

As Resolution Chambers’ Chief Operating Officer, Alix works with solicitors and clients to help ensure that members of chambers deliver their professional services in a user friendly and cost effective manner.
Alix also helps Resolution Chambers to continue to develop and innovate. She reports directly to the Head of Chambers.
Alix holds an LLM in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution and has experience in both Mediation and Arbitration. She has worked in the field for over 14 years including with a major international legal education provider as well as with an International law firm.
Alix is a long time Hong Kong Permanent Resident having called the city her home since childhood.
